Learning and fun for little explorers
Every second and fourth Sunday and Monday of the month at 10AM
Every Wednesday afternoon at 3:30PM
Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center
The program is free, but registration is required to reserve your space
Every second and fourth Sunday and Monday (10AM), and each Wednesday of the month (3:30PM), members of the 2-5-year-old set are invited to Trail Tykes at the Mission Trails Visitor Center to celebrate and learn about nature. And, of course, sing, dance, and have fun.
Presented by the nonprofit Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation, Trail Tykes sessions include a read-aloud story, singing, movement, nature-inspired crafts and/or a walk around the Visitor Center to explore the small wonders around us. Trail Tykes is free and open to the public, but families should register to secure their space. Please register for Trail Tykes here.
If you’re interested in volunteering as a reader for Trail Tykes, please email Youth Program Manager Alissa Lustgarten at alustgarten@mtrp.org.
The free program, presented by the MTRP Foundation and generously supported by the Dr. Seuss Foundation, has been a hit for kids and adults since it began in spring 2022.
