Springtime along the Oak Canyon Trail – 2005

Visiting the park today will give ample evidence that nature will heal itself if left alone. Heavy spring rains have created some serious erosion problems for our trails but has also caused a profusion of wildflowers. You would never know there had been a fire if not for the numerous blackend sticks still standing throughout the western potion of the park. These photos were all taken in Oak Canyon.
