Connecting with Nature was the theme for the 2017 Explore Mission Trails Day held on Saturday, May 20th, at the Mission Trails Regional Park (MTRP) East Fortuna Staging Area (EFSA). This popular event featured free guided nature walks, talks and programs throughout the park, including live animals and special programs for children. There were free pony rides and a mini mountain bike track presented by the San Diego Mountain Bike Association, a climbing wall, crafts for children, and many Discovery Stations.
