The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation’s annual photo contest is back from a two-year hiatus, and we have some exciting news to share! This year, for the first time, we will accept photo submissions online and we have also waived the entry fee! If you prefer to submit a printed and mounted photo instead of uploading your entry, you may do so. Physical entries MUST be submitted on an 8″ x10″ lightweight foam board, no thicker than ¼” and printed with a matte finish, not glossy. Both the online and physical entries can be submitted March 1- April 1, 2022.

This contest is for amateur/non-professional photographers only. Photos must be taken within Mission Trails Regional Park from an authorized trail and have MTRP as their subject. For full rules and instructions on how to enter, please click here. If you are submitting a physical entry, please download, print, and complete this form and bring it to the Visitor Center with your printed and mounted piece. Do note that providing a physical entry does not guarantee that your work will be shown at the Visitor Center.

Selected entries will be printed and mounted by the MTRP Foundation and will be on view at the Visitor Center from May 7 – June 17, 2022. Those not shown at the Visitor Center will be available for viewing through a link on the MTRP website beginning on May 7, 2022.

Please read the Contest Rules before submitting your photo. If you do not follow the guidelines, your photo may be disqualified without notice.

The MTRP Photo Contest awards reception will take place at the Visitor Center on Sunday, June 5, from 2-4 PM. All are welcome to attend!
