Tree planting at 9AM, East Fortuna Staging Area Parking Lot

Each December, we celebrate Arbor Day at Mission Trails Regional Park to beautify the park, recognize the importance of trees in our environment, and create more shady areas for Mission Trails’ current and future visitors.

The fall season provides the ideal planting conditions for young trees. This year, we will plant five Coast Live Oak trees on Saturday, December 4 at the East Fortuna Staging Area.

Whether or not you are able to come to the public planting on December 4, you can support this effort by donating $250 to sponsor one of the five trees. Everyone is invited to the tree planting on Saturday, December 4 at 9AM, meeting at the East Fortuna Staging Area parking lot. The holes will be pre-dug; gloves and comfortable shoes are recommended. Registration not required.

To sponsor a tree—a donation that can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one—please fill out this form and mail it to the MTRP Foundation.
