Join MTRP Trail Guide and amateur astronomer, George Varga, and his telescope at the far end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground’s Day Use Lot. No white light flashlights near the telescope, please. Cloudy skies and/or rain cancels event.
A thin crescent New Moon will be visible in the Southwestern sky as will the Planet Mars. The Beehive Cluster (M44) in Cancer, the Little Beehive Cluster (M41) in Canis Major, Orion Nebula (M42), and Galaxies M81 and M82 in Ursa Major will be objects to look for.
