Join MTRP Trail Guide and amateur astronomer, George Varga, and his telescope at the far end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground’s Day Use Lot. No white light flashlights near the telescope, please. Cloudy skies and/or rain cancels event.
A gibbous Moon about three days short of being Full will light up the sky. Mars will be visible in the Southwestern sky. The Orion Nebula (M42), Open Clusters M36, M37, M38 in Auriga, M35 in Gemini, and the Little Beehive Cluster (M41) in Canis Major are well placed for viewing.
