iNaturalist is an online social network where people can upload pictures of plants and animals, learn about nature, and in the process create a biodiversity data base. It is the tool to participate in the worldwide City Nature Challenge April 26-29. In this event, people in 64 cities will go out in nature and make observations of plants and animals and upload them using iNaturalist. Cities are ranked on number of observations, number of people participating, and number of species. Help San Diego be number 1.
